Salt Fork Lodge features a large indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Locker rooms are provided and are located on the first level of the lodge.Pool Towels are available at the front desk, a pool towel card will be available to guests for a deposit.
Daily pool passes can be purchased for $15 per person. Children age 5 and under can swim for free. Please stop by the front desk to purchase.

Salt Fork Lodge features a large outdoor swimming pool and small children's pool. Locker rooms are provided and are located on the first level of the lodge. Admission to the indoor and outdoor pools is included in your lodge or cabin stay. Pool Towels are available at the front desk, a pool towel card will be available to guests for a deposit.

Scheduled Children's Activities and Naturalist Programs are hosted in this space. The Activity room also houses the in-house turtles, snakes and salamanders.
Be sure to take advantage of our basketball hoops, sand beach volleyball, and shuffleboard courts during your stay—and kids of all ages will want to check out our playground equipment. We'll supply the equipment so you can focus on the fun!

Activities in the Park
Hiking is one of our most popular activities, and with 14 hiking trails (including a portion of Ohio's famous Buckeye Trail), you'll find something new at every turn. View the the hiking trails map at Salt Fork.
Bigfoot is rumored to be living within the boundaries of Salt Fork State Park. Spend the day (or night!) searching for this elusive creature. Pick up a sightings map at the Front Desk, grab supplies from the Gift Shop and start your own search!
In 1837, the Irish and Scottish ancestors of Benjamin Kennedy purchased an 80-acre tract of land in Guernsey County and commissioned the construction of a large two-story house from native sandstone quarried nearby. Don Kennedy, great-grandson of the builder, occupied it until 1966. The State of Ohio purchased the Kennedy property and surrounding lands to create Salt Fork State Park. Today, the house is nestled in the woods, overlooking the lake. The Kennedy Stone House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Stonehouse trail is one of the most scenic trails at Salt Fork in the Spring! Take some time on the trail to search for and identify these wildflowers growing on your adventure to the Stonehouse.
Perched high atop the rugged terrain of rural southeast Ohio, the scenic lodge golf course at Salt Fork State Park is a destination worth taking the clubs to. With its rolling fairways and expansive greens, the 18-hole championship course will challenge even the most experienced golfer.
Cruise Salt Fork Lake and explore the largest state park via the waterways. Drift past the Stonehouse for a unique view of this piece of history, search for the bald cypress trees or have a blast tubing on the unlimited horsepower lake. Reserve a pontoon boat, kayak or fishing boat for your upcoming stay. If you are bringing your own boat, contact our marina about day use docks.

Salt Fork Park is a great place to hunt for gray and fox squirrels, grouse, rabbit, deer, and wild turkey. Enjoy a day at our parks 2,550 foot public swimming beach, one of the largest inland beaches in Ohio. Swimming is permitted in daylight hours only.
Located near the campground, this is a great activity for the kids. Purchase a bag of gems and stones from the campground store and then take it to the water sluice to sift and find your gems.
The nature center boasts an array of animal displays, both live and mounted. Hours vary, call the camp office for additional information 740-432-1508.
Salt Fork State Park has a 12 station walk through range. Archery supplies not provided.
The park's one-acre dog park is located south of the main beach. It offers direct lake access for dogs to play and swim off-leash. There is a picnic table within the area and room for guests to bring their own chairs.
Salt Fork is in the fun in the winter too!
There are many great sledding hills located nearby the lodge. Equipment for this activity is not offered.
Once the snow starts to fall, explore the state park in a new way! The snow mobile trails start at the lodge meander throughout the wooded forest and along the road. seven inches of snow must be present. Equipment rentals are not offered.
