Reservation Information
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
We take reservations up to 12 months in advance of arrival.
All rates are stated in US dollars and are based on double occupancy in a standard double room, unless otherwise stated. Children under 17 years of age stay for free with at least one paid adult.
Our current tax rate is 7.25% sales tax, a 9% bed tax, and a 3% beautification fee.
In partnership with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Hotel and Resort Management, Inc. will assess a three percent beautification fee on all purchases at the lodge.
The monies collected are designated to be used for the continual improvement of the overall lodge and cabin accommodations , and recreation amenities only.

- Cash basis rooms or cabins require full payment in addition to a $150 cash deposit per room per night and $300 cash deposit per cabin per night.

A 3-night minimum is required when booking a Lakeside or Chalet cabin from Memorial Day to Labor Day.* Please check the booking calendar for exact requirements. If a specific cabin type isn't showing as available, try extending your stay — it might just need a longer booking to appear!

- Each additional adult in a room is $12.00 plus taxes, per person, per night.
- Rollaway beds are available for an additional charge of $15.00 plus taxes, per night
- Pack and Plays are available at no additional charge.
All reservations require an advance deposit payable by check, money order, or major credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. The credit card is charged the deposit amount at the time of booking.
Salt Fork Lodge & Conference Center has a select number of cabins designated as “pet friendly.” Pet-friendly cabins can be booked online. Pets are not permitted in any lodge rooms or cabins not designated as “pet friendly.” However, all certified service animals are permitted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991. A $200 plus $40/day cleaning fee will be collected upon booking for reservations with pets outside of the designated pet-friendly cabins.
Please note that our lodges and cabins, in accordance with state law, provide a smoke-free environment for all guests. We ask that this non-smoking policy be observed inside all guestrooms, cabins and public areas, including restaurants. Smoking is only permitted 30 feet away from any building. Smoking is prohibited on all room and cabin decks, patios, balconies, and porches.
The minimum age for reserving and/or checking in to any of our accommodations is 21 years old. A valid government-issued identification is required.
Cancel Policy:
Cancellations within 72 hours of check-in time on arrival day will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
Deposit Policy:
A deposit of one night’s room and taxes and fees is required at the time of booking. To pay your stay in full, please contact the property directly at 740-435-9000.

Under Ohio law, alcohol is prohibited in all public areas of every state park, including lakes, campgrounds, beaches, and trails. The only exceptions are Lodge restaurants and lounges. Each lodge is the liquor permit holder and, in accordance with Ohio law, alcohol purchased off premises is strictly prohibited. The golf course pro shop at Salt Fork offers limited beverage service. The legal age for possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages, regardless of family status, is 21 years of age. A valid government-issued identification is required to possess, purchase, share in the cost of, or consume any alcoholic beverages at any time.
Public areas (i.e. anywhere outside of your room or cabin) are for the enjoyment of all guests. All food must be purchased through the lodge and consumed only in the dining room, lounge or private meeting room. Therefore, no food is to be consumed in the public areas. Private meeting rooms are available for larger gatherings.
Recreational equipment, including but not limited to bicycles, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, roller skates, inline skates, motorized vehicles and toys, drones, and remote-controlled devices, is not permitted in the lobbies, corridors, hallways, or any interior area of the Lodge.
Winter days are chilly, with temperatures ranging from 15–30°F. Evenings are much colder, staying in the single digits and teens, but rarely dropping below 0°F.
The early spring months are similar to winter with the same likelihood of storms. The late spring temperatures rise to the 70s during the day, and evening temperatures drop to approximately 30–45°F. We recommend that you pack warmly for both seasons, although lighter wear will suffice for late spring.
The summer months bring long, hot days averaging 85°F, which is ideal weather to experience the many activities at Salt Fork. Enjoy a summer evening stroll through the park, with night temperatures in the 60s.
Fall brings a burst of brilliant color, and the early months are comfortably crisp, with the daytime temperatures ranging from 60–70°F and evenings in the 50s.
Salt Fork Lodge & Conference Center is open year-round, including cabin rentals. The golf course clubhouse is closed from January through mid-March; however, golfers interested in walking the course can play unlimited for $10.00 per day, per golfer. A self-registration station is located near the clubhouse.
There are no park entrance fees at Salt Fork State Park.
